**Job Description:**
We're seeking a talented Senior Backend DevOps Engineer to design and implement scalable blockchain architecture, contribute to novel ideas, and lead the development of unique blockchain software.
**Responsibilities:**
- Design and implement scalable blockchain architecture
- Contribute to novel ideas and develop unique blockchain software
- Lead the development of blockchain node software
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration
- Develop and maintain high-quality code
- Identify and implement process improvements
**Requirements:**
- Experience with running commodity hardware and servers at scale
- Experience running blockchain nodes and modifying blockchain node software
- Proficient in 2 of the following programming languages: Go, Rust, Javascript/Typescript, Python
- Strong understanding of blockchain architecture and design
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
**Nice to Have:**
- Work experience at a top crypto organization
- Experience designing unique mechanisms/protocols at the blockchain level
- Prior experience running/staking ETH consensus forming nodes directly
