Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in feature teams and contribute to the definition of new features and functions by providing expert knowledge and ensuring clarity and testability of requirements and user stories.
  • Elaborate and define acceptance criteria with stakeholders to ensure an aligned decision base for the assessment of verification results.
  • Create, maintain, and review complex software test cases in all lifecycle phases, considering customer workflows.
  • Plan, execute, and document test cases, including defect reporting and support of root cause analysis.
  • Provide technical leadership to less experienced team members and share knowledge in the area of expertise.
  • Support test management to ensure timely availability of deliverables according to the project plan.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of work experience in a similar position and profound knowledge of processes and methods in verification & validation of systems, ideally in the regulated IVD environment.
  • Master's degree (MSc) or Bachelor's degree (BSc) in a relevant technical or biomedical field, such as informatics, biomedical engineering, biotechnology, life sciences, or a related discipline.
  • Ability to actively contribute to team collaboration, inclusion, sharing ideas, and good team spirit, as well as mutual trust and respect (project team and sub chapter level).
  • ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level or equivalent education.
  • Advanced knowledge of test management tools.
