Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy is seeking a highly skilled Global Quality Manager to join our offshore organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing and improving our quality management system, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Main Responsibilities:- Quality System Implementation: Develop and implement a comprehensive quality management system that aligns with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Audit and Assessment: Plan, implement, and follow up on audit programs, including certification audits, to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Global Quality Programs: Implement and monitor global quality programs with partner production sites to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives with management and lessons learned across assigned plants to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Product Safety: Ensure that product safety activities are in line with internal and external regulations, and clarify customer complaints regarding manufacturing and/or supplier issues.
- Regulatory Compliance: Identify production unit relevant regulations and develop processes to meet these requirements.
- Non-Conformance Management: Ensure professional non-conformance (NC) management and reporting.
- Quality Methods and Risk Management: Control implementation of quality methods and risk management in production processes, projects, and products.
- Quality Reporting: Improve production quality reporting, including Management Review within the Business Unit.
- Quality Budget and Resource Allocation: Plan and propose quality budget and decide allocation of related financial and personnel resources, within given limits.
- Competence Management: Execute the competence management and training system for quality-related competences.
- Team Leadership: Manage organization unit(s) assigned, and lead and/or coordinate dedicated supervisors and professionals.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with the Quality Management network and business accountable units to achieve quality business goals, and implement and adapt communication to ensure understanding and awareness of specific quality topics.
- New Product Development: Participate in new product development projects releases, including connection with Quality Gates.
- Passion for Renewable Energy: Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change.
- Quality Knowledge: Strong knowledge of wind industry quality and continuous improvement-focused teams.
- Transformational Leadership: Experience in transforming strategic quality objectives into successfully executed actions.
- Commercial Acumen: Commercial acumen in translating quality improvements into the achievement of financial objectives.
- Offshore Wind Experience: Extensive experience in offshore wind construction/commissioning/service.
- Education: Degree educated in relevant: quality, mechanical or manufacturing engineering subject.
- Quality Systems and Tools: Experience of quality systems and tools.
