Senior Credit Analyst

Job Summary:

Intesa Sanpaolo Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Credit Analyst to join its team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, accounting, or a related field, and excellent analytical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Coverage team in originating, developing, and managing customer relationships.
  • Ensure all administrative tasks are properly carried out, including writing call reports and commercial notes of credit proposals.
  • Provide credit analysis on existing and prospective clients to support credit proposals.
  • Support the Coverage team in evaluating operating and economic performance of customers and activating corrective actions when necessary.
  • Interact operationally with relationship structures in Italy and abroad for relevant customers.
  • Work with various departments within the Bank to ensure proper processing of deals through closing.
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience as a junior team member in Banks (preferably Corporate Finance) or Consulting.
  • Strong academic background in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or Engineering areas.
  • English language proficiency, both oral and written, is necessary; knowledge of Spanish and Italian languages is a plus.
  • Superior knowledge of Microsoft Office package.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Strong economics and credit analysis fundamentals.
  • Knowledge of commercial, corporate, and investment banking products.
  • Commercial aptitude to enhance relationships with clients and internally.
  • Passion and drive to work in Financial Services & Banking.
