About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Director to join our team at Alstom Gruppe. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the execution of complex projects and programs, ensuring timely delivery, and maximizing results.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage the complete execution of projects and programs, ensuring alignment with contract and program charter requirements.
- Lead a project team, including core team members and external partners, to achieve project goals and objectives.
- Perform project management and contract administration, including proactive risk and opportunity management, and ensure compliance with E&C rules.
- Ensure completion of project and program performance goals, meeting business objectives and customer satisfaction.
- Manage project profit and loss, and ensure optimal quality of project execution and reviews.
- Represent Alstom towards customers and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment towards project goals.
- Accountable for the proper implementation of Alstom's policy and customer requirements, ensuring full compliance with Code of Ethics.
Requirements
- University degree in Engineering or Civil Engineering.
- High level of English language skills, with French or other language as an asset.
- Previous experience of 5 years of relevant project management experience, with desirable career experience in Railways and good knowledge of railway products and systems.
- Recognized project management qualification, with good knowledge of project management processes.
- Experience in managing wide range subcontractor companies, with strong skills and resilience to manage uncertainty.
- Leadership, entrepreneurship mindset, and decision-minded, with strong conflict management and interpersonal skills.
