About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Assurance Engineer to join our team in Madrid. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our railway signalling systems.

Your primary focus will be on performing safety assurance activities under the guidance of the Project Safety Assurance Manager (PSAM). You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential safety risks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply safety assurance methodologies, including risk acceptance criteria, safety analysis, verification, and validation.
  • Support periodic safety reviews and contribute to closing findings from internal or external assessors.
  • Collaborate with teams to develop and implement safety plans, hazard analyses, and safety cases.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An engineering degree and specific training in railway safety domain.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in safety assurance for connected railway signalling safety projects.
  • Proficiency in Spanish and English, with French being a plus.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
