We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at 100 Lcmc Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality medical services.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on established standards and policies.
- Delegate tasks to professional and non-professional personnel involved in patient care.
- Facilitate a safe environment for patients and others, with a focus on wound care treatment and prevention.
- Perform technical procedures safely, effectively, and efficiently, and promote infection control practices.
- Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care, prioritizing and coordinating activities related to patient care management.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, providing updates and addressing concerns.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to identify actions to improve patient care and education.
- Delegate tasks safely and appropriately to other team members to accomplish direct patient care or support activities.
- 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current Louisiana license in good standing.
- Current American Heart BLS certification.
- Must obtain ACLS within 6 months of employment.
