Associate Director, Global Scientific Communications – Metabolics

This role is responsible for leading the development and implementation of global communications strategies and publications plans for the metabolic therapeutic area. The Associate Director will chair the Global Publications Team and engage with cross-functional partners to drive timely execution of publication plans and result in high-quality and impactful scientific and clinical abstracts, posters, oral presentations, manuscripts, and congress symposia.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic publication plans for assigned products and disease indications.
- Ensure timely execution of publications to produce high-quality, accurate, and impactful deliverables.
- Participate in the planning, development, and implementation of medical educational plans, including congress symposia and other scientific programs.
- Manage and track publication tactics to ensure timely execution.
- Establish strong collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including product teams, clinical teams, biostats, external authors, investigators, and thought leaders.
- Conduct routine literature searches and interpret scientific literature for internal stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in scientific communications, excellent leadership and collaboration skills, and the ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment.
