Job Description Summary

Cushman & Wakefield Multifamily is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller Supervisor to join its Asset Services Finance team in Madrid. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for supervising the financial team and ensuring that financial processes are compliant with company and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Financial Officer: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on financial matters.
2. Financial Team Coordinator: Lead and develop the financial team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
3. Financial Process Coordinator: Collaborate with the Property Management team to ensure seamless financial operations.
4. Client Reporting: Prepare and deliver accurate and timely financial and asset management reports to clients.
5. Financial Data Integrity: Ensure that reported data is accurate, consistent, and traceable.
6. Internal Control: Oversee the internal control and audit of financial data, maintaining the integrity of information in Yardi.
7. Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal and client financial procedures, including bond updates, rent management, and debt claims.
8. Contractual Obligations: Manage contractual obligations, including invoicing, collection of fees, and coordination with accountants.

Knowledge & Experience:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
2. Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken.
3. Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, preferably in the real estate sector, with expertise in audit, controlling, administration, or accounting functions.
4. Knowledge of the Spanish general accounting plan and international standards (IFRS, etc.).
5. High-level knowledge of Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.
6. Experience working with an ERP, preferably Yardi, SAP, or other ERPs.
