We are seeking a seasoned Data Engineer with a passion for travel and a proven track record of leveraging data-driven insights to drive business growth and customer satisfaction. As a Level III Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of business travel through data analysis and innovation.
A Day in the Life
As a Data Engineer at Dyrdek Machine, Llc, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and define key business problems that can be addressed using data-driven solutions. You will design and implement advanced analytical models and algorithms to extract meaningful insights from large, complex datasets related to customer behavior, travel trends, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop predictive and prescriptive models to optimize pricing strategies, customer segmentation, recommendation systems, and other critical aspects of the travel experience.
- Analyze historical data and real-time data streams to uncover patterns, trends, and anomalies that inform decision-making and contribute to a deeper understanding of our customers.
- Work closely with software engineers and developers to integrate data pipelines, ensuring seamless data collection, storage, and processing using technologies such as Node.Js.
- Lead the end-to-end process of data analysis, from data collection and preprocessing to model development, validation, and deployment.
- Communicate findings and insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through data visualizations, reports, and presentations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics) or related experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Data Engineer, Data Scientist, or in a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering impactful data-driven solutions.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python (required) and Node.Js (preferred) for data manipulation, analysis, and model development.
- Experience with machine learning techniques, statistical analysis, data mining, and data visualization.
