About the Role

Sandoz, a global leader in the pharmaceutical industry, is seeking a highly skilled Directory Services Lead to join its Identity and Access Management team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing, engineering, and implementing directory services at Sandoz, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement directory schema, OU structure, and directory group management
  • Optimize indexing and performance of directory services
  • Migrate AD to Azure AD and synchronize identities
  • Configure security settings, GPOs, and maintain updates
  • Design standard integration patterns and drive integration with various applications
  • Manage user attributes and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Conduct regular health checks of the directory services environment
  • Participate in vendor selection and contract negotiation
  • Act as an escalation point for major incidents and guide the operations team
Requirements
  • At least 10 years of experience managing directory services in a highly regulated environment
  • Experience in systems hardening, networking, Disaster Recovery, and Security Monitoring
  • Prior experience in implementing and operating large-scale enterprise-wide directory services
  • Strong understanding of identity and access management principles, including LDAP, Kerberos, SAML, and multi-factor authentication
  • Experience with directory services integration, including LDAP, Azure AD, and third-party identity providers
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Experienced people leader with the ability to lead and develop teams
