About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our team at Empresa reconocida, a leading FinTech company. As a Senior Software Developer, you will play a crucial part in the development and optimization of our multi-currency accounting system and exchange of foreign currencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of the next iteration of our FX platform's services, collaborating with the team to design new services and components.
  • Coach and mentor less experienced team members, positively impacting the team's effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Lead product initiatives from discovery to delivery, working closely with the product and operational teams.
  • Take ownership of the products you build, embracing their development and ongoing maintenance.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in developing complex software systems, preferably with Python.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
  • Proficiency in constructing and managing services, including standard APIs, monitoring systems, and alerting services.
  • Ability to work with legacy code, reducing technical debt and improving workflows.
  • Strong expertise in integrating external systems and ensuring high-quality code with testable and well-covered unit and integration tests.
