Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Life Cycle Assessment Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our sustainability team, you will be responsible for leading and reviewing LCA/PCF assessments, evaluating and managing LCA workload, and ensuring the quality of LCA/PCF results.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and lead LCA/PCF assessments and evaluate, manage the LCA workload with LCA Pooling in India
- Review LCA/PCF results by ensuring that proper method and data are used, being responsible for the quality of LCA/PCF results for PF and R&I
- Capture and train juniors and newcomers when required
- Contribute to training in other networks
- Contribute to training materials development
- Support the deployment of the LCA methodology & Tools for products within the BG/PG
- Contribute/Support to LCA/PCF analysis within the BG/PG
- Give guidance to collect data from different networks (Industry, Purchasing, Projects, Logistics, R&D,...) for LCA/PCF
- Provide support to R&D platforms & P1 projects teams in their CAP50 achievements (with regard to CLEAN milestones for P1s)
- Contribute to actions identification to reduce PCF and support potential associated CO2 impacts evaluation
- Support Platforms & Projects in making waterfalls
- Improve LCA/PCF methodology, emission factors database & Tools
- Enhance permanently the LCA/PCF Methodology, tools & data (e.g. templates, PCF tools, EF database)
- Propose, lead or contribute to transversal working groups activities such as (Material EF, Process EF, LCA Method, Electronic EF/Method)
- Participate to external third-party review in case of
- Participate to the regular meetings of the LCA network & share best practices (LCA/PCF results)
- Participate to supplier meetings with regard to LCA in case of
- Contribute/Showcase LCA/PCF results to OEMs upon request
- Participate in working groups or ext. initiatives on LCA topics (e.g. Catena-X, PFA, CLEPA, UNECE, CICES, TranSensus)
- Review & challenge the suppliers about the emission factors communicated
