The Opportunity

We are seeking a mid-senior backend software engineer to join our core team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our backend systems. You will work closely with our software developers and product manager to deliver high-quality code frequently, while taking care of the business domain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable, efficient, and secure backend systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software
  • Ensure the platform runs smoothly, managing millions of measurements every day
  • Deploy changes in production using CI/CD pipelines
  • Be accountable and proficient with the code that the team writes
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our codebase

Requirements

  • Strong background in Java or Kotlin
  • Experience with Docker containers and microservices
  • Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases
  • Understanding of SOLID principles and Clean Architecture
  • Fluent in English

Nice to Have

  • Experience with DDD and Clean Architecture
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python and/or JavaScript
  • Experience with Cloud Native Infrastructure
