Job Description

We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our team at Semrush. As a QA Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our software products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and improve our test automation framework to ensure efficient and effective testing of our software products.
  • Design and develop automated tests to ensure the quality of our software products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development and product management, to identify and prioritize testing needs.
  • Develop and maintain test automation scripts using Java and Selenide.
  • Identify and report defects to the development team.
Requirements
  • At least two years of experience in software testing and automation.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles and testing methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with Java, Selenide, and TestNG.
  • Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or GCP.
  • Knowledge of containerization and Docker.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
