Cloud Operations Engineer

As a Cloud Operations Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining the high availability, performance, and efficiency of our cloud infrastructure and services.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain Kubernetes clusters, ensuring stability and scalability to accommodate increasing demands.
  • Automate routine tasks and streamline operations using infrastructure as code (IaC) practices.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation, providing prompt responses and resolution to critical incidents.
  • Proactively identify potential issues and troubleshoot system anomalies.
  • Collaborate with other teams to address incidents and implement preventive measures to reduce downtime.
  • Set up and maintain comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems to detect anomalies and capacity constraints.
  • Continuously assess the performance of our cloud infrastructure and applications, implementing optimizations to enhance system efficiency and reduce response times.
Qualifications:
  • Strong hands-on experience in managing Kubernetes clusters in a production environment.
  • Knowledge in config automation, CI/CD, and IaC for infrastructure management.
  • Experience working in an on-call rotation environment and running operations.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud computing platform and related services.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
