Job Title: System and Network EngineerWe are seeking a highly skilled System and Network Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our product infrastructure, maintaining its resilience, and implementing security measures to safeguard our systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Infrastructure Maintenance: Oversee the product infrastructure, ensuring it remains operational and resilient.
- Alert Management: Swiftly address alerts within the confines of our Service Level Agreement (SLA).
- Server Administration: Install, configure, and manage servers, maintaining their health and performance.
- Security Enforcement: Proactively apply patches to safeguard our infrastructure against vulnerabilities.
- Efficiency Optimization: Fine-tune our IT landscape to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Linux and Windows Mastery: Expertise in Linux distributions (Ubuntu, Debian) and Windows Server (2019 and beyond).
- Automation Excellence: Proficiency in Ansible, Terraform, and other automation tools.
- Advanced Networking: Skilled in configuring and optimizing network infrastructure.
- Scripting Creator: Experienced in creating elegant scripts using PowerShell, Python, and Bash.
- Network Service Management: Proficient in managing DNS, DHCP, SSH, VPN, SNMP, Postfix, Apache, HAProxy, and other network services.
- Orchestration and Containers: Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, and other containerization tools.
- Virtualization Expertise: Experienced in virtualization using Proxmox, VMware, and other platforms.
- Hyperconvergence Knowledge: Familiarity with Nutanix, vSAN, VxRail, Ceph, GlusterFS, and other hyperconvergence solutions.
- Experience and Tenacity: Over 5 years of Level 2 and Level 3 support resolution experience.
- Frameworks and Standards: Adherence to industry best practices, including ITIL, ISO 27K, and 20K.
- Collaborative Mindset: Ability to work in cross-functional teams and contribute expertise while fostering a positive work environment.
- Analytical Fortitude: Strong analytical skills to dissect complexities and arrive at effective solutions.
