Senior Backend Developer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to join our team in Barcelona. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing new functionality in our web products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing web services in Java and Go using REST
  • Implementing test-driven development practices, including writing and maintaining unit tests
  • Building and deploying applications to Amazon Web Services
  • Optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability
  • Designing and implementing new functionality in our web products

Requirements:

  • Experience developing/architecting highly available services
  • Preferred degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • Strong foundations in computer science, particularly data structures, concurrent programming, distributed services, and databases
