Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Modeling Analyst Intern to join our team at Ge Vernova. As a Risk Modeling Analyst Intern, you will play a critical role in supporting the review, update, and analysis of complex financial operational models for Multi Year Service Agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Operations Finance teams to perform annual review of the financial performance vs. budget and update projections for each contract.
  • Understand contractual terms and conditions; identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Understand gas turbine technology, operating, and maintenance considerations.
  • Understand Multi Year agreements policies, modeling procedures, business forecasting standards.
  • Drive modeling uniformity through close collaboration with the global Modeling team and other stakeholders.
  • Provide detailed scenario variance analysis; identify and recommend ways to maximize contractual profitability.
  • Provide training and analytical support to the Operations team in ongoing contract execution.
  • Support Operations team on financial forecasting and renegotiations analysis.
  • Communicate with management and stakeholders regarding contract-related topics.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Finance, or Technical field from an accredited university or college.
  • Advanced MS Excel user with experience in sensitivity analysis and simulation processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with great communication ability.
  • Results-oriented and deadline-driven personality.
  • Fluent in English; Spanish not mandatory but considered an advantage.
