Nordex Group is seeking a skilled Java Backend Developer to join our team. As a Java Backend Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining highly available Java Spring Boot microservices in the IoT environment of wind turbines.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Java Spring Boot microservices in the IoT environment of wind turbines.
- Record and process requirements from product managers and stakeholders.
- Develop our internal product solution for the future control and monitoring of state-of-the-art wind turbines.
- Integrate new devices in the IIoT software solution.
- Lead and mentor junior developers, providing technical instructions.
Requirements
- Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline.
- Sound knowledge in software development with Java Spring Boot, in the environment of microservice architectures.
- Existing knowledge of service architectures, API design, integration patterns, and communication protocols.
- Strong technical understanding and analytical skills.
- Strong self-initiative and hands-on mentality.
- High communication skills and the ability to discuss complex topics.
- Distinct communication and teamwork skills coupled with intercultural competence.
- Experience in DevOps processes and technologies, as well as working in an industrial environment, is advantageous.
- English (very good written and spoken). Ideally skills in Spanish and German.
- Profile: Organized person. Willingness to learn new technologies. Desire to work in agile teams and good communication skills. Resourcefulness and troubleshooting attitude.
- Minimum work experience of 4 years.
- Availability to travel.
