Job Title: Web Publishing Engineer

At Devoteam, we're seeking a skilled Web Publishing Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our digital strategy team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the availability and performance of our web services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate system developments to prevent capacity compromise and ensure fault-tolerant mechanisms are in place.
  • Develop and implement predictive alert systems to prevent incidents and ensure system availability.
  • Participate in post-mortem analyses and communicate system availability statistics.
  • Transform legacy components to align with current best practices and automate manual interventions.
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure seamless system integration and deployment.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with web publishing systems and proxying (Nginx).
  • Solid knowledge in Linux, system monitoring, tuning, and configuration management.
  • Ability to automate using scripts (mainly Python/Go).
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems using high- and low-level debugging tools and techniques.
  • Knowledge in deployment/configuration tooling: Ansible / HELM.
  • Experience with version control tools (Git).
  • Experience working with pipelines.
Desirable Skills:
  • Akamai security and publishing services.
  • ELK, Prometheus, and Grafana.
  • Azure DevOps services (Pipelines, Repos, Boards).
  • Infrastructure-as-a-Code using Terraform.
  • Cloud Provider services, S3, VM, networking (Azure preferred).
