Senior Finance Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Analyst to join our Finance Team in Barcelona. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting thorough analytical reviews of trade transactions and ensuring accurate accounting practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Investigate and understand complex accounting processes and their potential impact on the P&L.
  • Analysis of financial discrepancies related to automatic and manual processes.
  • Enhance data analytics to provide greater insights.
  • Proactively optimize work papers and processes.
  • Review changes in year-to-date (YTD) trends and understand variations.
  • Detect inconsistencies, assess their impact on EBITDA, and communicate with stakeholders to resolve them.
  • Ensure accounting flows are accurate and database integrity is maintained, reviewing consistency reports regularly.
  • Understand product flow processes and anticipate potential integration issues.
  • Assist stakeholders with accounting matters and provide support for EBITDA follow-up and new product integration.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting and analysis.
  • Analytical mind and ability to work under pressure.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Comfortable working with large volumes of data.
  • Experience with data analytics tools such as SQL and Looker Data Studio is desirable.
  • Knowledge of the travel industry is a plus.
