About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Application Security Engineer to join our Product Security team at Oracle NetSuite. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading incident investigations, coordinating with different teams, and ensuring a steady pace to the remediation of events.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead Incident Investigations: Conduct thorough investigations of security incidents, identifying root causes and providing recommendations for remediation.
  2. Develop and Implement Security Solutions: Design and implement security solutions to prevent and detect security threats, including the development of custom tools and scripts.
  3. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with development, security, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of security solutions and effective incident response.
  4. Stay Up-to-Date with Emerging Threats: Continuously monitor emerging threats and vulnerabilities, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  5. Provide Training and Support: Provide training and support to team members on security best practices and emerging threats.
Requirements
  1. 4+ Years of Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in software development, security engineering, or incident response.
  2. Strong Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, and experience with logging tools like OpenSearch or Elastic.
  3. Application Security Expertise: In-depth knowledge of application security and software development, including experience with secure coding practices and threat modeling.
  4. Excellent Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
