Transforming Everyday Problems with Innovative Technology

Are you passionate about using the internet of things (IoT) to transform and disrupt an entire industry? Do you want to be part of a team that tackles significant innovation and solves real-world problems?

We're seeking a motivated and multi-talented engineer to join our Amazon Key team, where you'll work on cutting-edge technologies in IoT, wireless, and cloud computing. Your software will guide Amazon customers to access their access-control devices via mobile app, and you'll be building solutions for 3P partners to install and configure IoT-enabled devices at properties through iOS and Android applications owned by Amazon Key.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with product and UX teams to solve customer problems by proposing engineering solutions and trade-offs.
  • Investigate design approaches, prototype new technology, and evaluate technical feasibility with engineering team members.
  • Deliver high-quality software in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Engage with the iOS development community across Amazon to share learnings and grow.

What You'll Need:

  • Experience in professional software development.
  • Experience designing or architecting new and existing systems.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
