About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Space Project Coordinator to join our team at Alén Space. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing space projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Coordination: Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery of space projects.
  • Client Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing exceptional communication and project management skills to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Team Management: Lead and coordinate the activities of technical teams involved in space projects, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with space projects, ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
  • Cost and Time Management: Track and manage project costs and timelines, ensuring adherence to project plans and company internal processes.
  • Communication and Reporting: Communicate project metrics, risks, and deviations to the operations team, ensuring effective project management and decision-making.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor or Master's degree in engineering or other technical fields.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in managing technical projects, preferably in the aerospace industry.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Language: Outstanding communication skills in English (C1 equivalent).
Desirable Qualifications
  • Knowledge of PMI and Agile Concepts: Familiarity with project management methodologies and agile development principles.
  • Experience with Aerospace Projects: Experience working on aerospace projects, preferably with ECSS management standards.
  • Team Management: Experience in leading and managing technical teams.
  • Technical Requirements: Experience working with technical requirements and specifications.
