About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Customs Specialist to join our team at UPS. As a key member of our Customs department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods and services across borders.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain compliance with customs regulations and procedures.
  2. Monitor and audit customs-related processes to identify areas for improvement.
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customs authorities and stakeholders.
  4. Stay up-to-date with customs news and regulations, providing expert guidance to the management team.
  5. Contribute to the development of customs-related policies and procedures.

Requirements

  1. Relevant degree in Law or a related field.
  2. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  4. Proactive attitude, flexibility, and organizational skills.
  5. Experience in customs regulations and foreign trade is highly valued.
  6. Previous experience in a similar role is an asset.
  7. High level of English proficiency is essential.
  8. User-level computer knowledge is required.
  9. Availability to work standard business hours with flexibility to adjust as needed.
