AI Application Support Specialist for High-Scalability Projects

**Job Summary**
The Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC) is seeking a highly skilled AI Application Support Specialist to join our Operations Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert support for AI applications on high-scalability projects.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Optimize the scalability of AI applications and technologies for large HPC systems.
- Improve the performance of existing AI environments, changing the code or helping developers with modifications.
- Choose and adapt algorithms and/or library routines to improve applications to specific computer architectures.
- Provide consultancy to scientists on AI solutions that can improve their research.
- Generate performance analysis and benchmarks for applications and report results to developers.
- Collaborate with other functional groups at European and International level on technical matters related to supporting AI scientific application work.
**Requirements**
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline with a focus on Artificial Intelligence is required. A Master's degree is desirable.
- Essential Knowledge and Professional Experience: Experience working with AI models in HPC systems, using performance analysis tools, and good understanding of Linux environment and Shell scripting. At least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
- Competences: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, analytical problem-solving ability.
