Job Summary: The Global Data Operations Specialist is responsible for overseeing the data management platforms at Havas Group. This individual ensures the smooth operation of data collection, integration, and processing, while providing excellent customer service. As a key member of the global team, this specialist acts as a bridge between different areas, ensuring knowledge flow and collaboration across all departments.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Data Operations Management: Ensure the data platforms and processes are running efficiently, both in data collection, integration, and processing.
  • Data Quality and Security: Monitor and manage data quality processes and data integrations, ensuring the quality and security of data.
  • User Support: Provide user support and help with technical issues and/or improvements, cascading to development teams.
  • Documentation: Document data operations and monitoring solutions in clear, concise guides.

Team Management:

  • Team Coaching: Coach, guide, and support the team of data operations specialists and developers.
  • Team Motivation: Motivate and create a great place for people to work.
  • Knowledge Transfer: Ensure knowledge transfer flows in both directions, establishing protocols to guarantee this.

Education & Languages:

  • Education: Computer science, engineering, or related technical field.
  • Language Skills: English: Excellent, Spanish: Excellent.

Key Competencies:

  • Data Platforms: Broad knowledge of Data Platforms in Media space, both at infrastructure (basic) and operational level (expert).
  • Ad-Serving Systems: Strong command of ad-serving systems, DSPs, and data management solutions.
  • Programming Languages: Skills in one or more languages will be necessary: Java, Perl, Python, Shell script Unix.
  • Cloud Computing: Experience working within IT procedures, data quality requirements, and agile/SCRUM environments.
  • Cloud Platforms: Experience and robust knowledge in cloud computing (Google Cloud, AWS).
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Proactive self-starter, strong analytical problem-solving skills.
  • IT Project Management: Experience using IT project management software.
  • Technical Documentation: Experience writing technical documentation and how-tos for operational tasks.
