Automation Technician

We are currently seeking a Automation Technician to become a part of the electronic team for one of our clients in the printing industry.

Your Responsibilities:

• Report directly to the Head of the Electronic Department.
• Engage in analysis, programming, design, documentation, and query resolution within the Electrical Technical office.
  • Conduct analysis and programming of automation systems.
  • Oversee machinery start-up processes.
  • Implement PLC and SCADA programming.
  • Facilitate the integration of external equipment into machinery.
  • Provide technical support to the After Sales Service department, addressing inquiries from the team both in the office and during field visits.

Required Qualifications:

• Proficient knowledge of PLC programming (Siemens s7-300) and SCADA systems, as well as Codesys.
• Experience with servo drives (Siemens, Rexroth) and frequency converters.
• Familiarity with field buses (Profibus, CAN, Industrial Ethernet).

Essential Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• FPII Education or a Grado superior in electronics and/or automation.
• Advanced proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens s7-300) and SCADA systems, along with Codesys.
• Experience with servo drives (Siemens, Rexroth) and frequency converters.
• Knowledge of field buses (Profibus, CAN, Industrial Ethernet).
• Conversational English proficiency at a minimum B2 level.
