Job Summary:
The Medical Director, Global Patient Safety is a key role within Absoluteeldercare, responsible for executing safety and risk management activities for assigned clinical development projects or marketed products. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective use of our products by patients and healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leads risk management evaluation and resolution for assigned products and projects.
- Utilizes subject matter clinical and pharmacovigilance expertise to identify and evaluate safety signals.
- Drives decision-making on risk/benefit evaluation and argumentation, pharmacoepidemiological or clinical trial data interpretation, and risk assessment.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of safety and risk management strategies.
- Develops and maintains strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including clinical development teams, regulatory affairs, and commercial operations.
Requirements:
- Strong clinical and pharmacovigilance expertise, combined with knowledge of the product(s) or therapeutic area.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to analyze complex data and drive decision-making on risk/benefit evaluation and argumentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and evaluate safety signals.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
