About the Role
We are seeking a skilled FPGA Design Engineer to join our team and contribute to the success of our aeronautical projects. As a key member of our team, you will participate in the design, specification, and development of firmware for RF hardware for current and future products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize RTL code using VHDL/Verilog for RFSoC platforms.
- Perform simulation, synthesis, place-and-route, and timing analysis.
- Work closely with hardware and software teams to integrate FPGA designs with other system components.
- Troubleshoot and debug FPGA-related issues.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest RFSoC technologies and industry trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in RFSoC design and development (Xilinx Zynq UltraScale+ RFSoC or similar platforms).
- Proficiency in hardware description languages (VHDL, Verilog).
- Strong understanding of digital and RF design principles.
- Experience with FPGA development tool Vivado.
- Familiarity with embedded systems and microcontroller interfacing.
- Knowledge of signal processing, high-speed design, and communication protocols (e.g., PCIe, Ethernet, DDR).
- Understanding of RF signal chain and mixed-signal design.
