Skydance Animation is a dynamic and innovative studio that fosters a culture of creativity and growth. We're seeking a skilled Rigging Supervisor to join our team and contribute to the development of state-of-the-art deformation and animation rigs.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and mentor the rigging team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality rigs.
- Collaborate with animators to design and implement complex character deformation and articulation.
- Develop and maintain Master Rigs for efficient reuse and scalability.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to drive innovation and efficiency.
- Participate in project meetings and turnover to ensure seamless asset delivery.
- 8+ years of experience in VFX or animation industries.
- 4+ years of experience as Lead in the animation industry with production knowledge in rigging and deformation.
- An impressive reel demonstrating expertise in facial surface detail, facial anatomy, and credible facial expressions.
- Proficient in English.
