Job Overview

The Position

Job Summary: As a DevSecOps Engineer at Roche, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our cloud-based infrastructure. You will be responsible for coordinating a team of engineers who manage OS images that are idempotent, automated, and secure, with a focus on cloud services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and stakeholders, to understand their requirements and ensure that the OS images meet their needs in the cloud.
  • Manage the continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipeline for OS images in the cloud, ensuring that they are integrated smoothly and securely into the pipeline.
  • Ensure that the OS images can be scaled easily and securely in a cloud environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SecDevOps and cloud services and incorporate them into the team's processes and procedures.
  • Know and understand the CIS Benchmarks that we apply, integrate and communicate changes to stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to OS images in the cloud in a timely and efficient manner.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5+ years relevant work experience as a DevSecOps Engineer or similar role.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure, and related tools, such as Terraform, Packer, Ruby, Inspec, Linux shell scripting, and Windows PowerShell scripting.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, Rundeck, GitLab.
  • Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • Knowledge on cloud imaging hardening best practices.
  • Good communication skills in spoken and written English.

  • Understanding of technologies related to information security.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
