About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Automation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our QA team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated test scripts and frameworks to ensure comprehensive test coverage and efficient testing processes.
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases that thoroughly validate software functionality and performance.
- Identify and report defects, inconsistencies, and anomalies in a clear and concise manner using issue tracking tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, specifications, and user stories.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies, leveraging automation to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Participate in test environment setup and configuration.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to prioritize and address issues, ensuring timely resolution and release readiness.
- Provide clear and concise testing status updates to project stakeholders, including progress, risks, and recommendations.
- Mentor and coordinate a small group of less experienced QAs, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to perform their roles.
Requirements
- Proven experience in software testing, with a focus on test automation and proficiency in automation tools and frameworks.
- Proficiency in creating and executing test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
- Strong programming skills.
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Familiarity with SQL for querying databases, verifying data integrity, and performing data-related testing.
- Experience working in a hybrid Agile/Waterfall environment.
- Java and Selenium are essential.
- Experience working with Page & Jack Mud.
- Ability to work on Manual to Automation conversions.
