Overview:

Are you driven by the challenge of crafting advanced software solutions and proficient in Software Design and Architecture? As a Software Solutions Engineer, you will be instrumental in defining, designing, and enhancing software solutions. Collaborating closely with Product Management and users, you will ensure that technical solutions align with their requirements while upholding Amadeus standards. This position encompasses everything from gathering requirements and conducting feasibility assessments to development, testing, and ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify user requirements for the creation of new or enhancement of existing software solutions.
  • Design technical solutions and execute feasibility evaluations.
  • Recommend viable technical solutions to Product Management and/or users for approval.
  • Develop software in accordance with Amadeus standards.
  • Model, design, and implement database systems.
  • Perform unit, package, and performance testing, ensuring quality in line with Amadeus guidelines.
  • Engage in the validation phase of the product lifecycle, making adjustments as necessary to finalize the product.
  • Assist customers by troubleshooting existing solutions in collaboration with the Product Manager or Product Definition Analyst.
  • Create necessary software documentation for the application and distribute it to the relevant departments.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Possesses a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Has a minimum of 5 years of experience in software development.
  • Demonstrates strong programming expertise in Java.
  • Experienced in database modeling, design, and implementation.
  • Familiar with Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
  • Exhibits excellent problem-solving abilities and can conduct comprehensive feasibility studies.
  • Skilled in executing unit, package, and performance tests.
  • Possesses strong communication skills and can effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Exhibits a detail-oriented approach with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
