Job Description

As a Cloud Compute Specialist at Oracle, you will play a key role in designing, demonstrating, and deploying Oracle Cloud architectures that address customer business problems. You will work closely with customers, sales, engineering, and product teams to drive Oracle Cloud customer consumption by accelerating the adoption of Oracle cloud services.

Responsibilities:
  • Engage with strategic customers to build leadership relationships and design solutions that meet their business needs.
  • Work directly with customers to gather requirements, develop architectures, and translate business needs into solutions.
  • Implement solutions and ensure successful deployments through code development and scripting.
  • Display product/application understanding through customized presentation demonstrations to customers and at conferences and events.
  • Support customers from Proof of Concept (POC) through production deployment of services via resource configuration, planning, and customer education/training.
  • Create and distribute technical assets such as white papers, solution code, blog posts, and video demonstrations.
  • Serve as a leading contributor for customers and sales on technical cloud solutions and customer success.
  • Identify gaps and enhancements to influence engineering roadmaps for customer-driven features.
  • Provide direction and mentoring to others.
