About the Role

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Backend Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing new features using Java.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-quality Java code for our backend services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop and maintain core REST microservices using Java
  • Work with devops tools like Jenkins, Terraform, and Gitlab CI/CD
  • Help lead features and initiatives from idea to successful execution
  • Define and implement best practices for software development and maintenance

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience with a JVM language (Java, Scala, or Kotlin)
  • Exposure to web development with a focus on backend services
  • Decent understanding of Linux, software architecture, and infrastructure concepts
  • Experience with NoSql databases
  • Ability to develop solution architecture designs and learn complex systems
  • Willingness to research and share knowledge with the team
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
