Axiom Technologies, a leading global IT services partner, is seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing timely and accurate assistance to end-users within our organization's desktop computing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide on-site and on-call support to end-users, troubleshooting computer OS and peripherals issues
- Handle various PC operating systems, including Windows 7, 8, and 10
- Perform hardware and software installations, utilizing deployment tools like SCCM
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our Standard Operating Environment (SOE) and group policies
- Offer printer support and ensure seamless installation and troubleshooting of MS Office tools
- Deliver exceptional customer service and possess excellent people skills
- Support a diverse range of technologies and services, with a focus on Windows, Apple, and virtual operating systems
- Effectively manage time and resources to meet or exceed expectations in high-pressure situations, maintaining professionalism under pressure
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Well-organized and detail-oriented, with a strong customer service ethic and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Self-motivated, with a passion for delivering quality results
- Ability to maintain confidential information
- Microsoft Office applications expertise
- PC/Laptop hardware and peripherals knowledge
- Active Directory, Exchange, and Apple OS familiarity
- SCCM experience
- At least one of the following certifications: PC/Laptop OEM Maintenance Certification, CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), or Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS)
- 2+ years of relevant experience, with freshers and IT students also welcome with IT backgrounds
- Ability to travel up to 18 miles as required
