About the Role:

Thales is seeking a skilled Validation and Integration Specialist to join our team in Madrid. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for validating and integrating our products and components in customer environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Validate products and components, including applications, libraries, systems, and solutions, in customer environments.
  • Define integration strategies and participate in acceptance test plan writing.
  • Collaborate with developers to reproduce, identify, and isolate issues.
  • Prepare training materials for administration and operation of solutions.

Requirements:

  • Experience with test management and bug reporting in JIRA.
  • Executing testing campaigns.
  • Non-functional testing types (performance, load, stress, etc.) using tools like JMeter, Postman, or SOAP UI.
  • Experience with server backend technologies: application servers, databases, and web services (SOAP/REST).
  • Fluency in English (B2+) and Spanish.
  • At least 3 years of experience in QA testing.

Added Value:

  • Testing experience with ATDD or BDD.
  • Integration with Jenkins.
  • Scripting language for automatic tests (e.g., Python).
  • Testing with Docker environments.
  • ELK stack (Kibana, Elasticsearch, and Logstash) concepts and experience.
  • Deployment and testing in application servers (JBoss/WildFly, WebSphere, GlassFish).
  • Good knowledge of SQL and database servers (at least one among Oracle, SQL Server, or MariaDB).
