Senior Business Solutions Architect

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Business Solutions Architect. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming business requirements into IT solution design specifications, ensuring that solutions meet customer expectations and are safe, reliable, scalable, and flexible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stay up-to-date with internal IT systems, documentation requirements, standards, regulatory environments, and industry best practices.
- Develop project rationales and perform scoping assessments to determine project feasibility, highlighting gaps in existing functionality and reviewing requirements with stakeholders.
- Develop comprehensive requirement specifications to estimate cost, time, and resources for deploying solutions, and create project estimates and financial models.
- Liaise with the service development team to suggest high-level functional solutions.
- Ensure relevant stakeholders are involved in specifying new services and/or major upgrades to existing services.
- Ensure the overall user experience is considered when designing and deploying new solutions and services.
- Ensure consistency and traceability between user requirements, functional specifications, and testing & validation. Support validation and testing.
- Ensure implemented solutions meet specifications and are fit for purpose. Support super user training.
Requirements:
- University degree in Informatics, Computer Sciences, Life Sciences, or similar.
- A minimum of 10+ years of experience in the Pharma or IT Industry with 8+ years in the Lab IT domain.
- A minimum of 6+ years as a business analyst/process expert/business IT lead superuser/Lab data or Digital position.
- Expert understanding of business process analysis & design and system architecture concepts.
- Expert knowledge of GXP, 21CFR Part 11, and the CSV lifecycle.
- Expert knowledge of Lab systems including LIMS and Chromatography systems.
- Ability to solve complex business process/information challenges.
- Proficient skills in global teams, collaboration, facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
- Working knowledge of Project Management; agile experience is an advantage.
- Prior experience in TRD and knowledge of TRD business processes is preferred.
- Innovation experience, including digital innovation projects, is advantageous.
- Data Strategy, Data science, or data standardization experience is advantageous.
