Senior Cybersecurity Strategist

WorldITFinder, a leading provider of IT solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cybersecurity Specialist to lead our efforts in securing our infrastructure and data.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Cybersecurity Strategies: Design and implement comprehensive cybersecurity programs and strategies to protect our digital assets.
- Conduct Security Assessments and Testing: Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability testing, and penetration tests to identify potential risks and security breaches.
- Monitor and Analyze Security Events: Monitor and analyze security events and incidents, respond to security threats in real-time, and manage incident response processes.
- Develop and Enforce Security Policies: Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures in compliance with industry regulations and best practices (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST).
- Collaborate with IT Teams: Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure secure software development practices and to integrate security into the DevOps process.
- Provide Expert Advice: Provide expert advice and guidance to senior management on emerging cybersecurity threats and the implementation of security technologies.
- Lead Security Awareness Training: Lead security awareness training programs for employees to foster a culture of cybersecurity across the organization.
- Stay Current with Cybersecurity Trends: Stay current with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technology advancements.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
- Experience: At least 7-10 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a proven track record in a senior or leadership role.
- Cybersecurity Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, encryption, and identity and access management (IAM) tools.
- Cloud Security Experience: Experience with cloud security, particularly in environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Network Knowledge: Strong understanding of network protocols, architectures, and security solutions.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and act decisively in high-pressure situations.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
