Job Summary

Colgeocat is seeking a highly skilled Junior Geologist to join our team in Barcelona, Spain. As a Junior Geologist, you will be responsible for performing in situ tests for PV solar projects, including pull-out tests, and writing geological-geotechnical reports while in the office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform in situ tests for PV solar projects, including pull-out tests, DPS, HPS, Panda2D, CDP, Dynamic Plate, MASW, VES, and Georadar
  • Write geological-geotechnical reports while in the office
  • Travel frequently (60% to 70% of the time) for national and international projects

Requirements

  • Previous experience in PV Solar and/or Wind projects
  • Fluency in Spanish and English; French-speaking candidates are also welcome
  • Valid EU driving license and EU valid passport
