Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Researcher in High-Order Methods to join our team at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center. The successful candidate will have a strong background in computational methods and experience in the development of software prototypes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on high-order methods in the context of Artificial Intelligence for Science
  • Develop and implement software prototypes to implement research methods
  • Collaborate with the Geometry and Meshing for Simulation group to advance research in high-order methods
  • Supervise students and contribute to the development of the team

Requirements

  • PhD in Applied Mathematics or equivalent
  • Proven experience in high-order methods and boundary unfitted or boundary fitted methods
  • Strong background in numerical methods and partial differential equations
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
