Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Grifols, S.A is a global healthcare company seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our IT team. As a key member of our dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in optimizing and streamlining our processes, guaranteeing the efficiency and reliability of our technological infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing, infrastructure as code (IaC), and automation. Your responsibilities will include evaluating, selecting, and deploying cloud resources on platforms such as Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

You will design, implement, and maintain automation solutions for on-premises infrastructure and cloud infrastructure using IaC principles. As a technical reference for the managed service and last technical escalation point, you will collaborate closely with development and operations teams to integrate automation into existing workflows.

Key responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, select, and deploy cloud resources on platforms such as Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Design, implement, and maintain automation solutions for on-premises infrastructure and cloud infrastructure using IaC principles.
  • Collaborate closely with development and operations teams to integrate automation into existing workflows.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate automation tools, such as Ansible, Terraform, for different aspects of the infrastructure.
  • Ensure security and compliance in Cloud by implementing best practices and security policies.
  • Identify automation opportunities to improve scalability and availability of systems.

Requirements:

  • Experience in deploying and managing cloud infrastructure, preferably on Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform.
  • Demonstrated experience in IT infrastructure automation, with a particular focus on Terraform.
  • Deep knowledge of tools such as Ansible, Terraform.
  • Advanced scripting skills such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
