Postdoctoral Researcher in Pediatric Rhabdoid Tumors

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced researcher to join our team at the IdiPAZ Health Research Institute. The successful candidate will be part of a project focused on developing new therapies for pediatric rhabdoid tumors.
Project OverviewThe project aims to identify genetic and immunological dependencies in pediatric rhabdoid tumors, with the ultimate goal of developing effective treatments. The researcher will be responsible for establishing a national biobank of tumor samples, molecular and immune characterization of the tumors, and developing primary models for in vitro and in vivo studies.
RequirementsTo be considered for this position, applicants must have a PhD in biomedical sciences obtained on or after January 1, 2023. The ideal candidate will have experience in cell culture and experimental techniques, including flow cytometry, Western blot, Sanger sequencing, qPCR, and NGS. A strong publication record, particularly as first author in first quartile journals, is also essential.
Desirable SkillsExperience in CAR-T cell therapy or cellular immunotherapy, gene expression analysis, and massive sequencing is highly desirable. The ability to work with experimental animals and to co-direct students is also an advantage.
