Role

We are currently looking to add a person to our Investment Advisory team in Madrid. The person will support the team in the following tasks:

  • Due diligence in renewable asset portfolio transactions (in operation and under development)
  • Consulting on renewable energy acquisition strategies (Self-consumption, PPAs, Guarantees of Origin, others)
  • Provide insight and comfort on technical, commercial and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) aspects for infrastructure and energy investors and developers through the production of due diligence reports, business plans, strategic insights and portfolio optimisation studies
  • Perform a key analyst role in international and multi-disciplinary project delivery teams, liaising with other experts within and outside the organisation on complex issues
  • Distill large amounts of information towards key technical and ESG business plan drivers, inter alia through working with data analytics tools
  • Collaborate with wider international teams to develop our sustainable investment offering
  • Attend meetings with clients to present findings on projects
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A Degree in Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mines or similar (specialty in electricity or energy technologies preferred)
  • A Master's degree in Renewable Energies, Energy Engineering or similar will be valuable
  • Advanced use of the Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • A high level of Spanish and English required (C1)

Conditions

This is an internship opportunity with the following conditions:

  • Be enrolled in the university to be able to establish an agreement with the University
  • Immediate incorporation
  • Duration: 6 months of extendable internship (possibility of joining after completing the internship)
  • Schedule: From 20 to 40 hours per week to be defined with the student
  • Remuneration: will depend on the student's level of training and the number of hours established
