The Role
- Develop and maintain the Risk and Cybersecurity management programs to ensure the security and integrity of our systems and data.
- Provide input to the Vulnerability Management program to identify and mitigate potential threats.
- Develop Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and identify how to best measure and report them to ensure effective risk management.
- Conduct risk assessments on Organisation controls and Application controls to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive risk reports to provide the current state of risks and propose mitigation strategies.
Requirements
- Experience assessing security controls for various technology platforms, including Cloud technologies, Operating Systems, Databases, and Networks.
- Strong leadership skills, able to work independently and collectively to reach assigned targets.
- Experience in the use of GRC management platforms to manage risk and compliance.
- Knowledge of Information Security Risk and Compliance frameworks, models, and standards (NIST RMF, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, OWASP, etc.).
- Experience in risk mitigation, coming up with creative ways to implement high levels of security with minimal disruption to the business.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with diverse audiences (senior leadership to general user population) using various delivery mechanisms (written, oral, presentations, etc.).
- Sound business discernment and flexibility/adaptability to handle multiple wide-ranging matters, conflicting deadlines, and new areas of expertise as business needs change.
- Expertise in risk/threat/vulnerability analysis and discovery, with knowledge of exploitation processes and techniques.
- Technical experience in information security, with an engineering background.
- Good problem identification, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
