Job Summary

Clark County School District is seeking a highly qualified Early Childhood Special Education Teacher to join our team. As an Autism-KIDS Educator, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality education and support to students with autism and other developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that cater to the unique needs of students with autism and other developmental disabilities.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including speech therapists, occupational therapists, and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive support for students.
  • Design and deliver engaging and inclusive lesson plans that promote academic, social, and emotional growth.
  • Provide direct instruction, support, and accommodations to students with autism and other developmental disabilities.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless transitions and support.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Teaching license issued by the Nevada Department of Education (NDE) or ability to acquire by time of appointment.
  • Valid driver's license or state-issued identification card.
