Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented trainee lawyer to join our Company Legal Department at Airbus Defence and Space SA, a leading European aeronautics and space company. As a trainee lawyer, you will have the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of our business and methods, as well as develop your soft skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the in-house lawyers in their day-to-day work by actively working in the areas of general business law, contract law, and corporate law.
  • Find solutions to issues raised by the department.
  • Draft legal documents required by the business and internal clients.
  • Assist with the provision of legal information.
  • Deal with a high variety of legal areas such as corporate, intellectual property, contracts, real estate, disputes, and European Union projects.

Requirements:

  • Law degree or related studies.
  • General knowledge about commercial law, corporate law, and dispute resolutions.
  • Ability to search legislation and case law in legal databases.
  • Knowledge in MS Office and Google Apps.
  • English: negotiation level. Additional language would be a plus.
