The London Employment team at DAC Beachcroft LLP is seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate to join their ranks. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for advising a range of market-leading clients across the financial services, healthcare, and commercial sectors.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake a busy and varied workload of employment matters, with a focus on advising financial services sector clients.
- Work on complex discrimination, whistleblowing, and breach of contract litigation, including Employment Tribunal and High Court cases.
- Assist on non-contentious projects, such as restructures and redundancies, in the UK and across multiple jurisdictions.
- Provide general employment advisory work, including telephone and email support.
- Supervise the work of and assist in the development of trainees and paralegals.
- Participate in and initiate marketing, networking, and business development activities to maintain and develop work from existing clients and potential clients.
- 5+ years of post-qualification experience as a Senior Associate.
- Experience of advising clients in the financial services sector and multi-national commercial clients.
- Experience of working on tribunal claims and other contentious matters.
- Ability to think independently and generate commercial solutions to problems on behalf of clients.
- Confident communication skills and ability to develop relationships with clients and influence at all levels.
- Enthusiastic team player with a flexible approach.
